We’ve Moved!

Hey everyone. It has been a while since my last post because we have moving! We were living in Rogers and now, we are next door to Robbie and Erin, in Springdale, just a few minutes away from Katie’s School! This is going to save us a TON in gas and it is also cheaper Rent! Yes, we are still renting! Why you ask? Remember Dave Ramsey and his Financial Peace University? That is why. We are still on Baby Step 2. Even though we haven’t used any debt in 2 years now, we haven’t finished paying off all of our debts. Our debts really aren’t that much, we just didn’t have much money left at the end of the month to put down on the debt. This year, we hope to change that. I will be working extra hard in Real Estate, pulling 14 hour days, 80 hour weeks.

Katie and I were talking yesterday about me taking on a second job or something just to speed up the process. But Real Estate is such that you can’t really do that and be an effective agent. I know several Realtors who have done this because of the slower market last year. Their business suffered. It is hard to be available for all your clients & to sell the listings effectively when your time is split. So, we’ve decided that my second job would also be Real Estate. I’m going to use the “second job energy” and burn the midnight oil until we are completely debt free! We have a revived intensity in 2008! It is exciting.

This does mean that if you ask Katie and I to do something, or go somewhere that cost a little bit of money, we have the strong possibility of telling you, “I’d LOVE to go, but it’s not in the budget.” PLEASE INVITE US! Just because we will be telling you that we can’t go, doesn’t mean that we don’t want to be invited! We appreciate the invites, even if we can’t join you. However, one day soon, we will call you and invite you to OUR party. Our “We’re Debt Free Party”!

A few other things
www.TheRayTeam.biz is becoming more and more functional every day. I work on that in my “spare time”. I’m starting to get lots of visitors daily! I LOVE seeing that. Be sure to tell your friends and family about me! This year is going to be a great time to buy. No one can predict the future, but I don’t think that we will see the same “great buys” in 2009 that we will this year. There will always be “deals” but right now, they are EVERYWHERE!

Run a 5k with Todd and Ray
April 19th is the Race for the Cure 5K in Fayetteville! If you would like to run with me and Todd as a member of “The Ray Team” we’d LOVE to have you! We will not be setting any world records, but we just want to get out and support a good cause while having some fun. We only need 5 more to have an “official team”.
