My New Face

December 17, 2007

I got a face lift! Well, not really. But for the purposes of marketing, I asked our “marketing girl”, Megan, to make me a cartoon without facial features. rayshead.jpgAs a Real Estate Agent & part of the fastest growing Brokerage in NWA, it is important to Market yourself & differentiate yourself from the competition. This is all part of “The Ray Team” campaign. If there is one thing I didn’t like was a picture of my face everywhere. I wanted a “symbol” of my face instead. She did an AWESOME JOB!

Todd Varnadoe just joined our team & also was transformed into a character/cartoon. When I get a chance to create a few more graphics with both of us, I’ll post them. He is equally as stunning. With these toons, I can ask our “marketing girl” to put us in all kinds of scenes & scenarios with the click of her mouse! No need to pose or do another photo shoot! Saving time & money!

What do you think? Does it stand out? Does it look like me?

Have a great day!

Ray

Christmas? Already!? We’re Moving!

December 4, 2007

I can’t believe that it is Christmas time! Not only that, it is almost the end of 2007! And I just got used to writing ‘07!

Well, the next few weeks will be flying by even faster. Katie and I will be moving to Springdale (next door to Robby & Erin)!

Most of you know that we attended a Financial Peace University Class almost 2 years ago that has left a permanent impression on how we manage our finances. We have rented for the last 2 years so that we can pay off our debts & be DEBT FREE. Well, by moving to Springdale, we will save even more money on rent & utilities. That savings will speed our progress for becoming debt free! And we will be much closer to Katie’s school. We are so sad to leave our little house! We love the land & being in the country but SECONDS away from the city. We love our little farm house, but we are looking forward to living next door to dear friends & saving a ton of cash!

We are also taking the opportunity to throw out a TON of things that we have been storing for no reason. I hate clutter, but I seem to be great at accumulating it! It is hard to believe how much stuff fits in closets, drawers, & desks. We’ve already given away 1 desk & will be throwing out 3 couches soon! Not to mention the countless amount of little trinkets laying around that were going to be used for something on that someday that never came!

Anyway, that is about all that is going on right now. I’ll send eveyone on our email list a message with our new address after we move.

Bye for now,

Ray
