I was reading through our blog & I realized that I missed a very important event!! SCOUT!
I can’t believe I missed it! We got a beagle puppy about 3 months ago! I guess I totally forgot to write about it because we were trying to surprise our parents when they visited, I was so busy with work, & we were getting ready to give Boston back to Jason!
We got Scout on St. Patrick’s day as an early Birthday present for me!! We were concerned that when we lose Boston, Sooie would go into a sort of doggy depression & would start tearing things up around the house while we are gone for the day. We thought that we would need to get another dog or something. I’ve wanted a beagle for a while & when Katie saw these little pups being sold, she just couldn’t resist!
We almost named him Lucky, Shamrock (Rock for short), or Clover, but then Katie thought of the name Scout & she fell in love with it. His mom is a blue tick beagle named Blu Lilly & his dad is a saddle back beagle named Clear Creek Kentucky. So his full name is “Blu Creek Scout.” He is a great dog. He is learning fast & loving playing with his big Sister! He has one of the loudest “barks” I have ever heard. It can rattle your ear drums! Usually he is just trying to get Sooie’s attention or someone to play with him.
